why Billy?
why New zealand first?
Billy Brown isn’t a career politician. He started working in construction at 13 years old and has spent nearly three decades building New Zealand.
Roads. Infrastructure. Civil projects. The kind of work you can point at and say, “we built that.”
Billy has worked his way up from the tools, through supervision and leadership, and knows what it means to work hard, run a business, deliver projects and be accountable for results.
That is exactly why he chose New Zealand First.
New Zealand First believes in building the regions, using New Zealand’s resources, investing in infrastructure, backing working people and putting New Zealanders first.
And it has a record of delivering for the regions.
Billy wants to build on that with a clear focus for Rotorua: lower living costs, cheaper power and food, stronger infrastructure, regional investment, productive local jobs, safer streets and real support for people who need it.
He believes wealth created in our regions should help build our regions — not simply disappear into Wellington.
He’ll back tougher consequences for serious and repeat offending, stand with victims and police, and push for practical solutions to homelessness and disorder instead of shifting the problem from one place to another.
Most importantly, Billy won’t just fall into line when Rotorua’s interests are being ignored.
We’ve tried blue. We’ve tried red. Rotorua deserves something different.
A builder, not a career politician. A party that backs the regions. A voice that will put Rotorua and New Zealanders first.
